Maintenance Mechanic - 1st Shift
1st shift Mon-Fri, Rotating shift of 6:00am - 2:30pm and 8:00am - 4:30pm, OT and Weekends as needed
Pay based upon experience!
Onsite at West Chester, Pennsylvania

Job Summary:
Lubricate machinery, change parts, or perform other routine machinery maintenance.? Actively involved in preventive maintenance program to achieve machine goals.
Responsibilities:
* Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain CNC machinery, electrical systems, pneumatic and hydraulic equipment
* Reassemble machines after the completion of repair or maintenance work.
* Start machines and observe mechanical operation to determine efficiency and to detect problems.
* Inspect or test damaged machine parts, and mark defective areas or advise supervisors of repair needs.
* Lubricate or apply adhesives or other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures.
* Install, replace, or change machine parts and attachments, according to production specifications.
* Dismantle machines and remove parts for repair, using hand tools, chain falls, jacks, cranes, or hoists.
* Set up and operate machines, and adjust controls to regulate operations.
* Collaborate with other workers to repair or move machines, machine parts, or equipment.
* Inventory and requisition machine parts, equipment, and other supplies so that stock can be maintained and replenished.
* Transport machine parts, tools, equipment, and other material between work areas and storage, using cranes, hoists, or dollies.
* Replace or repair metal, wood, leather, glass, or other lining in machines, or in equipment compartments or containers.
Basic Qualifications:
* High School Diploma or General Equivalent Diploma (GED) is preferred but not required.
* Ability to utilize all types of tools including wrenches, sockets, hammers, tape measures, crimpers, cutters, and steel banding.
* Electrical and mechanical experience required.
* Three (3) years' experience with CNC machine maintenance preferred
* Welding a plus. (TIG, MIG)
* Forklift experience.
* Machinist / Fabrication knowledge.
* Electrical certifactions preferred.
Travel & Work Arrangements/Requirements:
* Fully site based
Key Competencies:
* Demonstrated experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance including motors, controls, power supplies, AC/DC theory, power distribution, PLC's, hydraulics/pneumatics, lubrication, power transmission and pumps
* Demonstrated ability to follow all established safe work procedures including, but not limited to personal protection equipment, lockout/tag-out requirements and electrical safety
* Read and interpret blueprints, technical parts manuals such as electrical and mechanical diagrams, and ability to effectively use and read gages, meters, calipers and other measuring tools
* Effective and safe use of all required tools including, but not limited to, drills, saws, torches, welders, cranes & hoists, forklifts and other maintenance equipment
* Ability to work other shifts, weekends and overtime as needed
